LOVE IS BLIND

Happy Friday-

I left you with a little teaser for today’s blog yesterday. Before I get into that I thought I’d share a little background on the way we view our dogs. For some reason H2 and I were talking one evening when we just had Morgan and Marley about how Marley’s face kind of reminded us of a bear. So naturally since he’s brown and tall he’s the grizzlie bear. Morgan being smaller, faster and more agile is of course a black bear. So we jokingly started calling them bears.  Around the same time the TV show “The Office” did a series of fake PSA’s and one of Dwight’s just soldified it for us. See below:

That is exactly how our dogs would react Marley will charge you and Morgan would run away from you (usually when we were trying to get her to come inside).

So where the hell is all this going? Bear with me:) it fits that when we adopted Miles he naturally became the polar bear in the family (since we have to have one of each). That leads to the teaser yesterday. If you recall from an earlier post,  Morgan and Miles don’t exactly get along. Morgan suffers from PTSD from the severe abuse she went through as a puppy and it comes to the surface when she feels threatened. Also she just doesn’t like polar bears (Miles or otherwise). This little stuffed polar bear was in homage to Miles of course and you can see what happened when she got a hold of it.

Ouchie, that had to hurt! (BTW that ugly carpet is long gone)
