LOVE IS BLIND

Well the never ending saga of trying to find our furry children a home has finally come to an end.  This past Wednesday we closed on our house after what seems an eternity dealing with lenders, underwriters and insurance agents.

I can honestly say this was one of the most frustrating processes I’ve ever experienced.  We were originally supposed to close on March 31st (yeah right) and ran through an unbelievable gauntlet to get it done.

Anyhow enough of the negative stuff we have the house that’s all that matters.  Now the real work begins and that’s exactly how we spent our entire weekend.  Painting, painting and more painting.  In typical guy fashion I got a new toy for the job, a paint sprayer and I have to say it’s pretty amazing how well it works.

Sorry I’ve been slacking on the blog lately but I’ll pick it back up once we get settled this weekend.
